At 1608 hours Station 7, Rescue Squad 2, EMS Station 79, EMS Station 29, and St. Mary's ALS were dispatched to the area of Three Notch Road and Chaffee Court in Oraville for a Motor Vehicle Accident with one person trapped. Rescue Squad 7, Engine 72, Chief 7, and Chief 7A responded shortly after dispatch with 12 Volunteers.

Chief 7 and Chief 7A arrived on location at 1613 hours reporting a single vehicle off the road with the driver trapped. Rescue Squad 7 arrived on location and went to work stabilizing the vehicle and used the HURST Rescue Tools to remove the driver's door to free the trapped occupant. The extrication was completed within minutes and the assignment was scaled back to Rescue Squad 7 and Ambulance 797.

One patient was evaluated by EMS and turned over to the Sheriff's Department on the scene. All units cleared the scene and returned to quarters at 1639 hours.
