August 16, 2015
On August 16th, shortly before 1400, numerous units from the south end of St. Mary's County were alerted to the area of Airedele Road and Fishermen Way, in the 4-06 box, for a motor vehicle accident reported serious.
A499 (Lt. Gillespie) arrived on scene shortly after units from Company 4 and 14 and located a Range Rover SUV overturned against a tree. Units located and began treatment on the sole occupant of the vehicle who received serious injuries as a result of the collision.
Trooper 7 responded and transported the Category Alpha, Priority 1 patient to Prince Georges Trauma Center in serious condition.
