Sunday August 16th, 2015 Companies 1, and 7 were alerted to 40754 Lake & Breton View Drive for the appliance fire. Engine 11 (DFC Bell) responded with 4 and was advised a dryer on fire in the residence. Lieutenant 1B responded from the area and arrived on scene to find a 2 story residence with smoke showing. A quick investigation found that all occupants were out of the structure and confirmed a dryer fire with extension to the walls. Engine 11 arrived, advancing an attack line into the structure and getting a quick knock on the fire. Truck 1, and Engine 74 arrived next venting the structure and overhauling the area of the fire. The dryer was removed and the residence was cleared of smoke. Units restored their apparatus and cleared shortly after.

Units: Engine 11, Engine 14, Truck 1

Mutual Aid: Engine 74
