June 11, 2016
At 0947 hours, Rescue Squad 2 was alerted to Point Lookout Road in Loveville for the motor vehicle accident with reported entrapment.

Units arrived to find a two vehicle, head-on style collision with one operator still inside their vehicle. After scene size up, there was no entrapment and crews went to work doing patient care and securing the vehicles. One of the vehicles was leaking gas and a protection line was advanced off of Squad 1.

EMS personnel requested a medevac for one patient and Engine 10 handled the landing site adjacent to the scene.

Trooper 7 flew their patient to a trauma center and the other was transported to Medstar St. Mary's Hospital.

Chief 1 held the Point Lookout Road Command and units operated for forty-five minutes.
