September 29, 2016 At 1004 hours, Station 2, with surrounding companies, were alerted to 37075 Dixie Lyon Road in Thompsons Corner for the reported house on fire. Chief 2 arrived and advised of the corrected location of 37045 Dixie Lyon with a two story, single family and smoke showing. He established the command. Engine 23 dropped a 4" line and proceeded to the scene. The crew advanced a 1.75" line off the rear to Division 2 and made quick work of the fire. Fire had extended from an external chimney up the outside of the house with extension inside. Additional units arrived and crews opened up and ventilated the structure. The assignment was scaled back to the units from Station 2, Charles Engine 1002B and Truck 7. Units operated for forty-five minutes.
