On Monday 10/3/16 at 1500 hrs Solomons Co.3 was alerted for an MVC at the intersection of HG Trueman and Cove Point rd. Chief 10 was less than a mile away and responded to the scene. Upon arrival Chief 10 found a two car T-bone style accident with 1 patient still in his truck. Chief 10 established the command and requested another medic unit and Squad 7. The driver of the van suffered serious but non-life threatening injuries but was unable to get out of the truck due to his injuries. The other vehicle occupants were already out of the vehicle and being tended to by EMT's who arrived POV. Once the patient was removed from the van and evaluated he was found to have a possible broken femur and no distal pulse. Aviation was requested for this patient. St-Leonard A78 handled the two pri-3 patients who were transported to CMH, while A38 handled the pri-2 CAT-B patient with the FX femur who was being flown out. Squad 7 handled the cleanup at the accident site and the LZ. While at the LZ Solomons units and CALS were alerted for a pri-1 patient unresponsive in the CRE. Chief 10 and Command 10 responded from the LZ to handle the call.

Units: Chief 10, Command 10, A38, A78 Sqd 7, MSP Trp 7
