As the morning rush hour was starting Companies 3 & 4 were alerted for an MVA serious.
Chief 3 and Rescue 3 responded quickly, followed by Squad 4 a short time later. Chief 3 arrived first reporting a 2 vehicle accident with one in a field. The vehicle in the fields occupant was out on arrival but the cars were trapped inside. Rescue 3 arrived and quickly went to work removing the windows, doors, and roof. All extraction was complete before the first ambulance was on scene. Squad 4 arrived and staged near a possible landing site for Trooper 7 which was called for by Chief 3.
The crews from 3 & 4 helped the ambulance crews remove the occupants and load them into awaiting ambulances. Due to weather conditions the ambulances transported to the hanger where Trooper 7 was awaiting them.
