Shortly after 0400 hours, Rescue Squad 10 and Chief 10 responded to the MVC with Extrication off of Edge Hill Road in Co.14's area. Crews worked for over 30 minutes extricating a total of 4 patients, with a 5th patient being freed prior to FD arrival. Crews were faced with a challenge due to the vehicle being down a grade into a small ravine. A hauling system was set up to bring the victims to street level for EMS care. A total of 4 patients were flown to local trauma centers via Trooper 2, Trooper 7, and Eagle 4. Engine 102 was on scene at the landing site.
