The RSVP (Retired and Senior Volunteer Program) Banquet on March 23rd was attended by Faith Roache, Ronnie and Linda Talton and Cody Sir. RSVP recognizes retired and senior volunteers for their service in the community. Faith, Ronnie and Linda were each awarded a gold Presidential Pin and Certificate for contributing over 500 hours of volunteer service with MVRS in 2016. Cody Sir attended as a squad representative at a Recruitment and Retention table. MVRS was one of 34 county organizations recognized at the banquet. All the RSVP organizations' volunteers together saved the county over $800,000 last year. President Commissioner James Guy addressed the volunteers to thank them for their service. District 2 Commissioner Michael Hewitt was in attendance along with other county representatives.
