At approximately 5:30 pm this evening units from CALS and Prince Frederick Rescue Squad and co.2 respond to the intersection of Rt-231 and North Prince Frederick Blvd for the reports of a vehicle overturned with subject trapped after a police pursuit. Chief 10 and M101 arrived on scene simultaneously and quickly began a rapid trauma assessment. The driver was semi-conscious laying in the vehicle on its side, the decision was made to rapid extricate the patient through the sunroof. Once the patient was removed from the vehicle he was quickly packaged and moved to A48 for transport to a local LZ. PMIC Co. Shannon handled patient care with the assistance of crews from Co.4. Patient care was eventually transferred to MSP trooper 7 for medevac to PG trauma.
