At approximately 1400 hours, Area Box 1-11 was dispatched to 9019 Chesapeake Avenue for the reported apartment fire. This assignment brought Engine 61 (Lt. Hayden), Tanker 6 (P. Robison), Chief 6 (Clark), Chief 6A (Ward), Chief 6B (Thrasher), Safety 6 (Montgomery), and Captain 6 (T.Clark). Chief 1 arrived on the scene to find fire showing from sides alpha and Charlie, from division 2 of a 2 story apartment building. Crews advanced an attack line, and extinguished the same. Engine 61 reported to side Charlie, and assisted Company 1 with extinguishment. Chief 1 (Keller) held the 1-11 command.
