April 21, 2017 At 2111 hours, Squad 5, Engine 51, Ambulance 59 & Safety 5 were alerted for the Auto Accident at Route 4 & Ward Road. The call was immediately upgraded for the overturned vehicle with ejection. Seconds later, the Dunkirk Volunteers arrived on location and found a single-vehicle off the roadway with the driver lying in a parking lot. The patient was flown to a local trauma center. Units cleared at 2200 hours.
