In the past couple of days there have been 3 working house fires (2 in Charles County and 1 in PG County). All have been fatal fires.

Please check your smoke detectors. It is such a simple tool and it can save your life.

If you need one and can't afford one then reach out to your local fire station and they may be able to assist you with providing them to you.
