The Local Heros Project given by Father Andrew White's Art of Giving program swept through Mechanicsville and helped the members of Company 2 with painting a mural in our brand new firehouse. The vision was to take our "Taz" patch that we have placed on our Engine 23 and paint it on one of the walls in the kitchen area. The students from the school were able to come in and help program coordinator Theresa Friess, with painting Taz and adding some of their own creative thoughts. The Mechanicsville Volunteers would like to thank Theresa as well as the students for their hard work and dedication.
