Second Working Fire- With Burns

While units were cleaning up equipment from the first fire and still assisting the State Fire Marshal at the location, a second box alarm was alerted at 2014hrs.

Units responded to the area of C Street, Chesapeake Beach for the reported kitchen fire. Chief 1B arrived and confirmed heavy smoke evident from the dwelling.

Command was established by Chief 1B and all occupants were accounted for. Engine 12 & Squad 1 performed fire extinguishment and overhaul of the contents from the kitchen. There was also fire extension into an adjacent dwelling room.

Two burn related injuries were treated at the scene by A19, A58, and Medic 104. Both adult occupants were referred to the MedStar Washington Burn Center via an MSP medevac.
