This afternoon at 1305 hours, Dunkirk VFD Squad 5 was dispatched for the house fire at 6353 Meadowland Drive in Dunkirk (Anne Arundel 42-15 box).
Squad 5 (with 6 personnel), the Fire Chief and both Deputy Chiefs were first to arrive with smoke showing from a two-story single family house. While the driver laddered the house, the crew from Squad 5 located a room & contents fire on the second floor. The fire was quickly extinguished by Engine 422. Squad 5 returned to service 30 minutes later.
