2nd Annual Southern Maryland Fire Truck Pull - 2008 Organized by Pax River Rugby
Hosted by Bay District Vol Fire Dept
All proceeds benefit the Southern Maryland Red Cross Disaster Relief
Date: Sunday, August 17, 2008
Time: 10:00am - 3:00pm
Bay District Fire Station #3
46900 South Shangri-La Drive
Lexington Park, MD 20653
Fire Truck Pull:
Your Team = Up to 10 members
(You can buy more muscle! Add up to 5 more people for $20/person extra)
Distance = 75 ft
Fire Truck = over 40,000 lbs
Entry fee is $100 prior to the event; and $150 on event day
Your time, well that's up to you!
The fastest times will continue to move on to the semi-finals and then the finals, until only 2 teams reamin. Final two team will conduct a best-of-three pull-off for the Southern Maryland Fire Truck Pull Cup!
There will be a 50/50 raffle. The team who collects the most pledge money will also be honored with and award and prize. There will also be a prize given for best team uniform! Remember this all benefits the American Red Cross Southern Maryland Chapter.
The competition will provide fun for the whole family. There will be food and drinks for sale by the Bay District Volunteer Fire Department members.

It was as well a delight to see shirley at breakfast that tuesday morining.
