Congratulations to our dedicated Fire/EMT Cadets for their outstanding performance at today's Southern Maryland Regional SkillsUSA competition 2024! We extend our heartfelt appreciation to all the instructors, as well as the numerous volunteers who selflessly supported and coached these talented individuals at their local stations, preparing them for this momentous event.

Today's competition marks the beginning of a week filled with regional contests, all leading up to the highly anticipated awards ceremony next Saturday at 3 pm, hosted at North Point High School in Charles County. As our cadets vie for success in these regional challenges, it's important to note that the top three finishers will advance to the state-level competition in April. A gold medal at the state level propels the winner to the Nationals in Atlanta this June.

Let us persist in our commitment to nurturing the future of service and community care. Together, we are building a foundation for excellence and fostering a spirit of dedication among our Fire/EMT Cadets.
