Babysitter’s Safety Course
Cost: Free to all participants
Ages: 13–17
Registration Deadline: September 4, 2025


Course Dates and Times:

  • Monday, September 8 and Wednesday, September 10 | 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM

  • Friday, September 12 | 5:30 PM – 8:30 PM

  • Final Test: Saturday, September 13 | 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM

About the Course

This comprehensive safety course equips teens with the essential skills and knowledge needed to responsibly care for young children. Led by qualified instructors, participants will gain confidence in handling a variety of babysitting responsibilities and emergency situations.

Topics include:

  • Babysitter roles and responsibilities

  • Awareness of surroundings and basic safety

  • Fire safety and injury prevention

  • Emergency procedures and first aid

  • Pediatric CPR & AED certification (via American Heart Association)

  • Fire extinguisher training and practical demonstrations

Each participant will complete both a written test and a hands-on practical obstacle course. Upon completion, participants will be certified in first aid and Pediatric CPR & AED.


This course is ideal for teens seeking to build responsibility, gain lifesaving skills, and prepare for babysitting jobs in the community.
