The Hughesville Volunteer Fire and Rescue Squad Inc. regretfully announce the passing of our last living Charter Member Clarence O’Connell McDonagh Jr. “Mac” passed away on May 20, 2022. He was 92 years old.

A celebration of life will be held Saturday June 4, 2022 at the American Legion Post 238, 6265 Brandywine Road, Hughesville, Md. 20637. The celebration of life will begin at 1500 hours. The American Legion’s prayer service will begin at 1530 hours followed by the Fire Department’s prayer service. A reception will immediately follow the services. Interment will be private with family at later date.
