The officers and members of the Seventh District Vol. Rescue Squad regret to announce the passing of Edward "Eddie" Kennett.

Eddie became a Charter member of the Rescue Squad in 1960. Eddie was an Asst. Engineer for many years and was consistently a top responder.

He was a life member and an inductee into the SMVFA Hall of Fame recognizing his 54 years of service.

Eddie was also active with the Seventh District Volunteer Fire Department from 1949 until 1976 with many years as an Engineer or Asst. Engineer and a top responder.

Arrangements are as follows:

Visitation will take place at Brinsfield Funeral Home in Leonardtown on Friday, August 26 from 915-1100 with EMS prayers to follow. Internment will be private.
