| On Saturday, October 17th, members of the SDVFDRS took part in a community outreach event organized by the local Lowe’s Home Improvement store. Each year, Lowe’s supports Fire Prevention Month by inviting local fire departments to help raise public awareness about fire hazards and to educate the community on fire safety.
During the event, SDVFDRS members spoke with residents, distributed fire safety materials, and gave children the opportunity to explore the fire trucks. The department thanks Lowe’s for inviting them to participate in this important community initiative. |
