| A dozen members from Company 1 traveled to St. Mary’s County on Saturday, October 24, 2026, to participate in live fire training at the Bay District Volunteer Fire Department’s training burn facility. The members worked through evolutions that included fire attack up stairs and into basements. The benefit of such training permits members the opportunity to improve their confidence in using SCBA, practice fire control and extinguishment techniques, improve hose management and teamwork, and sharpen pump operator skills.
