Crew Responds to Industrial Accident on Roof Top

Just after 1500 hours Solomons units were alerted to 124 Williams St on Solomons Island for a reported electrocution of a worker. First arriving unit Amb 39 arrived to find a male that was working as part of a construction team that had come in contact with high voltage wires. 2nd arriving Truck 3 arrived and quickly devised a rescue plan to access the victim and make ready for evacuation via rope rescue systems. Making use of a Crane on scene to assist as high directional the patient was loaded into a stokes basket, lowered to safety and an awaiting EMS crews within 20 minutes of arrival. The patient was transport via MSP Trooper 7 to Washington Hospital Center for treatment of his injuries.
