Units were alerted this afternoon for the possible house fire. Units from Huntingtown and Dunkirk were in the area after clearing a automatic fire alarm. First arriving units found smoke showing. Engines 6 and 5 made quick work of a kitchen fire with extension into the attic space. The squad crew completed the search and assisted with opening up for the engine companies.
