Back to Charles County for Another Fire Units from Charles County arrived on location to find a Large Barn with several exposures all on fire. Units went to work to knock the fire down when an explosion occurred. A "MAYDAY" was called for a possible firefighter down but was quickly cleared and the firefighters went back to work. Units from Hollywood arrived and assisted with fire attack and overhaul. Engine 73 was used to drafted from a pond on the property and supplied Waldorf Truck 3's Ladder Pipe. Tanker 74 was utilized for Tanker shuttle and delivered a total of 15,000 gallons of water. Units remained on the scene for several hours assisting with overhaul and hitting hot spots. The units from Station 7 cleared the call and returned to quarters at 1506 hours. |
