Units were alerted this evening for the working house fire in the 106 box of Chesapeake Beach. Chief 6 (Spriggs), E61 (T. Spriggs), E62(LT. Miller), SQ6(Morris), Tanker 6(Gaylor) and A6(Martin) responded. First arriving crews found heavy fire showing from a two story wood frame dwelling with exposures to either side. A second alarm was eventually requested. Crews advanced several hand lines into the dwelling and conducted searches of all floors but were eventually removed to placed Tower 1 in service to knock down the main body of fire. Crews reentered the home and extinguished remaining hot spots. Company 6 units operated for several hou
