At 0639 hours Company 5 was alerted to the area of 24440 Hurry Road for a tractor on fire. Engine 52 and Brush 5 responded on the call. Chief 5A was first to arrive on scene, with a tractor in the middle of a field fully involved. A few minutes later Engine 52 and Brush 5 arrived and made access to the field utilizing an access path. Once on location crews deployed an 1.75" attack line to the fire. The fire was extinguished within minutes. The fire investigator was requested to investigate the incident. Units returned to quarters within an hour.
