As usual once the weather becomes nice the calls start to come in. On Tuesday the day start with a couple of trauma calls that required medevac transportation to local area trauma centers. PMIC Jones and Intern Bento handled the north medevac from the Dunkirk area for a Priority 2; Cat D trauma. PMIC Freeman and Intern Snyder handled the south medevac from the St. Leonard's area for another Priority 2, Cat D trauma. The calls didn't just stop there though. At the industrial construction site at the Dominion LNG in Solomons a worker had fallen ill requiring medical attention. Due to the construction site size it took first arriving crews a while to reach the patient who ended up being treated by Chief 10 until the arrival of the second medic. Just another busy day in Calvert County for the medics!
