HVRS Responds to Motor Vehicle Accident in Loveville

On Saturday June 11, 2016 at 0947 hours Companies 1 (Leonardtown VFD), 2 (Mechanicsville VFD), 19 (Leonardtown VRS), 29 (Mechanicsville VRS), 79 (Hollywood VRS) and the Medic Unit were dispatched to a motor vehicle accident on Point Lookout Road, reported to be serious.
Arriving units located a two vehicle, head-on style collision with no entrapment. Due to the nature of the injuries to one of the patients, Maryland State Police Trooper 7 was requested for a medevac. Once stabilized, the patient was transported to the landing zone by Ambulance 798 and then flown to a local trauma center. After Trooper 7 cleared the landing zone, Ambulance 798 responded to a 911 call in the Helen area.
