First Due House Fire

On Saturday, March 18th, at approximately 0745 hours, Area Box 6-05 was sounded for 3725 Robinson Road for the house fire, with reports of people trapped. The assignment brought Engine 61 (M. Lanier), Engine 62 (C. McDonald), Tanker 6 (J. White), Squad 6 (S/O Montgomery), Ambulance 68 (C. Larsen), Chief 6, Chief 6A, and Chief 6B. Chief 6 and Engine 61 arrived simultaneously, and reported smoke showing from all four sides. Engine 61's crew located several rooms off on the bravo side, and extinguished the same. Squad 6 assisted with searches (which were negative) and ventilation, while Tanker 6 supplied Engine 61 for the duration of the incident. Crews remained on the scene for several hours assisting the Fire Marshall.
