At 1804 hours, Squad 5, Engine 51, Engine 52, Ambulance 58 & the Assistant Chief were alerted for the auto accident at Route 2 & Grovers Turn Road. The Dunkirk Volunteers arrived on location and found a 2 vehicle accident with entrapment. The crews from Squad 5 & Engine 51 went to work by removing both drivers side doors, both passenger side doors & the roof. One patient was flown to a local trauma center and an additional 4 patients were ground transported to Calvert Memorial Hospital. Engine 52 handled the Landing Zone & the Assistant Chief held the command. The Dunkirk Volunteers returned to service at 1930 hours.
