Tuesday March 26 at 0037 hours, while Engine 51 & Ambulance 59 were operating on a medical local, Anne Arundel Box Alarm 42-13 was sounded for the house fire at 6416 Bob White Court in Dunkirk.

Dunkirk VFD Squad 5, Tanker 5, Chief 5 & Chief 5B responded on the run. First arriving Chief 5B reported fire showing from all floors and sides. Due to the volume of fire and collapses, an exterior attack ensued. A second alarm and Tanker task force were requested quickly into the incident.

Squad 5 assisted the Engine Companies and Tanker 5 delivered 9 loads of water. Unfortunately, the house is a total loss but all occupants escaped safely. Firefighters from Anne Arundel County, Calvert County, Prince George’s County and the City of Annapolis were brought to the scene. The Dunkirk Volunteers operated on the scene for 5 hours.
