Just after noon, Tenth District Volunteers and surrounding departments were dispatched to 4050 Sweetman Road for reported "outside fire" with possible extension to a nearby garage. Chief 8A (Danielson) arrived in minutes along with E82. Chief 8A established "Marbury Command" and requested three additional tankers for water supply. 21 volunteers along with mutual aid from NDW Company #21 battled this stubborn pile of old bus tires; fire under control in just under 30 minutes and fire was out in 45 minutes. A "front end loader" was available on scene to assist with moving debris around to ensure proper extinguishment. No injuries reported
