On July 11th at 10:40 PM Hughesville Volunteers were alerted to the 6600 block of Leonardtown Road for the motor vehicle collision with injuries. Squad 2, Duty Officer 2 and Chief 2A responded and arrived on scene to find a single vehicle off the roadway into the woods. The operator of the vehicle was able to exit the vehicle on his own and did not require any medical assistance. Units turned the scene over to the Charles County Sheriffs Office and returned in service.
