December 2020 Association Meeting

The officers and members of the association would like to thank Dentsville Volunteer EMS, Fire and Auxiliary for the hospitality of the use of the facility for the meeting tonight, we would also like to thank Mission BBQ from Waldorf MD for the refreshments. Mission BBQ has been a longtime supporter of Fire / EMS / Law Enforcement and Military.

MSFA fire prevention committee Chairman Theresa Chrisman presented the fire prevention book award winners to the station's in Charles and St. Mary's county's at the meeting last night. The officers would like to congratulate the winners and encourage our members to continue to keep up the good work and participate in the future.

SMVFA Officers presented a thank you plaque to Edward P. Jones investment representative Jeffery P. Quesenberry who is retiring for his many years of managing the Police Fire and Rescue fund account.

Chaplain J. Gardner performed the Swearing in of Co-Chaplain Tommy Swann of Laplata VFD last night to complete the two Chaplains per county to assist our association members and their families when and whatever their needed.

The meeting was conducted via Zoom so association members could attend and maintain social distancing.

The Association remains committed to stop the transmission of the COVID19 virus by implementing social distancing measures for meetings.
