On August 27th at 7:08 PM, Hughesville Volunteers responded to Gallant Green Road in the area of Bassford Road for the motor vehicle collision. Squad 2, Engine 22, Ambulance 27 and EMS Chief 2A responded. Engine 22 arrived on scene to find a single vehicle collision where the vehicle left the roadway striking a telephone pole. The operator of the vehicle was located uninjured. The remaining units were placed in service and Engine 22 stood by until the arrival of law enforcement.
