The Ridge Volunteer Fire Department invites you to a FREE Fire Prevention Field Day on Saturday, June 6th from 1 PM - 4 PM at the Ridge Fire Department Carnival Lot.
This hands-on event is designed to give families practical, real-world safety knowledge in a fun and interactive setting. Attendees will have the opportunity to participate in live demonstrations and learn critical safety skills that can make a difference at home and outdoors.
Featured demonstrations include:
- Grilling safety and fire prevention tips
- Heat emergency recognition and response
- Camping and campfire safety
- Proper use of fire extinguishers (P.A.S.S. method)
In addition to safety training, there will be games, prizes, and activities for all ages, making it a great afternoon for the entire family.
This is more than just an event - it’s a chance to learn how to prevent emergencies before they happen and be prepared when they do.
